The Chartwell gallery at Objectspace was perfect for the intimate contemplation of almost 200 of architect Pete Bossleys sketch books. The Exhibition designed by Nick at The Letter Q provided for a range of visitor interactions with the journals. Where required more delicate journals were contained in a display case while open shelves at the perimeter of the space used descrete magnetic mounts to hold pages in position at selected spreads. Seating was then placed next to a vertical display where visitors are invited to explore journals where the dates are displayed on the spine for quick chronological reference. A recorded interview with Bossley so that his voice joins the visitor in the room, narrating his habitual drawing practice.
